Ask them about shipping. I'd call Canada and US customs and see if they'll allow it across the border since they "discourage" cross-border shopping. Also ask Chrysler about warranty issues as Mine was cancelled coming from the US (an No refund). I think that all the cross-border discouragement is only coming North, except for wood.

Huh? So someone could buy one for $63k and you think you should get $65k? By the way, the market has continued to deteriorate since these numbers were seen. My guess is that at auction the price will be <$60k.

What is the commission you have to pay at auction? At least deduct that from the $63k and see what happens.

Not someone, you have to be licensed to get into the auctions .(NOT OPEN to the general public).So, buy your numbers since the last posted auction dates (MID NOVEMBER ) 08 VIPERS will have dropped 3000 dollars in 3 weeks.Accordingly by your numbers again USED LOW MILEAGE 08 Vipers are now worth 60 grand to the general public .I am sure ALOT of 08 Viper owners may take exception to YOUR FIGURES.PS since the guy taking the car to the auction is a dear friend i doubt i will be paying much commission.

So correct me if Iam wrong your saying that a DODGE VIPER with an approx sticker of say 93000 (out of which dealer cost invoice minus holdback=approx 83000)can be bought NEW in CANADA for 59000 American .

There seems to have been a rash of posts recently in a variety of sales threads where someone advertises a car or a part for a given price, and one or more people feel obligated to tell the seller that their price is too high, or the item is wrong in some way.

If you read a sales thread and you do not like the price, simply do not buy the item. but please keep your negative comments to yourself.

This type of behavior isnt fair to the seller, and it just cant be tolerated. from now on, any negative comments will simply be deleted. please show the sellers a little more respect in these types of threads. always keep in mind that YOU, may be selling an item of your own someday.
