Please don't bash me, we have the SSG 2008 VIPER, a black 2006 srt10 300 C, and my new 2010 ram 3500 larimie cummins.

But I am heading out on a 19 hour one way trip to pick up my new baby.

BUT IT IS NOT A DODGE.

It is a 1963 corvette split window, from the second owner.

It is a divorce situation, and it is a concours car.

I picked it up for investment only.

I will post pics next Saturday.

Vipers are awesome cars - but they're not the only awesome cars. No bashing from me.

'63 - very, very nice!

Please post pics.

I think we can agree that 1983 was the best year ever for Corvette. Other than that though - the '63 is tops!

I'm no corvette fan at all, that is except for alot of the 50's and 60's. The 63 split is a great car. Love to have one. Congrats!

Well it was one long trip, 20 hours one way, snow, slush, and ice.But made it back in one piece. Saw something I thought I would never see. In a little town called Moricetown, B.C. I pulled in to fuel up and at the gas station was a Gen 1 Viper coated with mud. There was no pavement just potholes and mud. Then a guy about 55-60 years old gets in it, and takes off like he is driving a 4x4,boucning through the potholes, made me sick. Then on the way back I was stopped at a red light and a 2008 SSG Vert with black stripes went through intersection almost as muddy. I guess some people consider Vipers a just another daily driver.

The 63 Vette is in showroom condition. I love it.

Those guys are the coolest guys ever!

Vipers are cars - and cars are for driving. They obviously don't live in the best place for a Viper owner but they're enjoying their cars anyway.:drive:

AWESOME!

BTW, It's important to me that everyone knows I WAS NOT the guy redressing his tires after every stop on the drive during VOI11. Wasn't me. Just say'n.

That is the correct proportion that one should maintain.

2 Vipers for every Corvette. Max.

Yes, all original, 327, but its the automatic.
The guy restored it right down to the paint marks
on the frame, etc. Also it still sports its original
( not nos ) but the original bias ply spare tire.

Nice find. I've had my 63 vert for about 10 years and although I seldom drive I'll never sell it. It's just too great of a car. I pulled my motor/trans (wrapped it for safe keeping)and put in stroked 385 and a Tremic 5 speed. Both changes make the car a blast to drive. To be honest it gets twice the looks the Viper does.
