They say when it comes to women nothing beats a great pair of legs! Well theres nothing that quite brings a car to life like a new set of wheels..Thank you to Jon at PARTRACK for my new new 18" HRE 897R series in chrome :2tu: ..I have had 547 in polished on my last viper but the chrome is intense..Just mounted them tonight and its a bit dark but you will still get the picture..

It's the lack of tire dressing that's making those tires look small. Just kidding. It does look like the gaps are big but I'm used to my 19" and 20" filling up the gap a little more.

Also the pics were takin with car on slight incline because of garage floor being 1" higher tha driveway asphalt. the front tires are sitting for jack purposes up on higher flooor than rears sitting on asphalt

What's the difference between the 897 and 547? They look very similar with the exception of the bolts around the 547.

THAT is lowered? Why does it have such a big wheel gap? Maybe it's just the photo? Something looks weird.

I think wheels that have very little "face" to them give the effect of making the tire and rim look very skinny. You see the hub, then "nothing" where the spokes are (i.e. the brake disc is very exposed), then you see a low profile sidewall and a very thin wheel barrel. It's kind of an optical illusion that accentuates the wheel gap. I believe that's why Dodge has always chosen very "full face" wheels to go on these cars, it makes the wheel/tire just look meatier.

Fantastic looking wheels though...just gotta do something about those rusty rotor hats!

Great lookin' wheels on that badboy! The front splitter looks sweet on your Gen II.

But what's with the Blue parking brake in back??

(J/K. It's a Gen III Joke!)
