It seems like on here the only high hp numbers your see are from forced induction vipers. The majority of N/A Vipers just modded with the same ol' exhaust and smooth tubes etc. So, whats the highest hp numbers that have come from a N/A viper?

Pretty much all real high HP numbers will come from blown motors.... the only thing you'll see on an NHRA strip is blown....

But that does not mean people do not make big HP on NA, but even there, you'll see a shot of Nitrous boosing the numbers claimed to be NA in Mag articles... NOS bottles hidden in the doors of Gen I cars were classic ;)

Package cars out there now:

RSI: Gen III 750 HP, Gen II 800HP
DC Performance, similar packages/numbers
West Coast Viper: Gen II/III 725 HP (dry sump racing engines)
TNT: Gen II/III 655 HP
Archer, Albert, Macedo .... all have big HP NA packages too

Big Daddy's were the NA engines in the GTS-R cars.... right up there with some forced induction cars.

Several here have made some pretty sweet NA engines in their own shops.

Sweet, why is it that RSI manages to push more hp out of a Gen II then a Gen III?

Package cars "as advertised" by tuners mean nothing. Promising what you "think" you can build for advertising purposes is often complete BS when it comes time to complete the car.

RSI has only built ONE serious N/A viper and that was a Gen II. It was a 510ci high compression stroker motor and made around 700rwhp. Lingenfelter performance has built a few 542ci N/A motors that have proven to be the most powerful naturally aspirated V10's to date (700+rwhp 700+rwtq).
