What is a good plug for a Viper with 650 RWHP, 300 shot, 10.6 to 1 compression, stroke motor 510, heads...yada...yada...

The person is running very cold plugs but he gets a lot of carbon build and fouled plugs. What is a good plug to use that will be a happy medium with cold starts and nitrous? Gap?

RC10ECC is the best plug period! It has great cold weather drivablilty and keeps detonation to a minimum, if you can find them.

1 or 2 steps colder.

Autolite 3924 is 1 colder, 3923 is 2 colder, and 3922 is 3 colder

I just called NGK on Friday and they recommended the ZFR6F-11 (stock #4291) for a 100-200 shot. They said if I was going any more than a 200 shot they recommend the ZFR7F (stock #5913). These are readily available at NAPA stores. Good luck finding the Champion plugs.

ive read the rule of thumb is 1 step colder per 100 shot. but my car liked one step colder the best on a 200 shot
