This thing is a dream come true! I've always wanted one. I'm in love. I love gen 2 body style. The final edition is good cruiser right out of the box ! #stoked

Great choice. Be careful when its new to you....no stomping it unless the front wheels are straight-ahead (until you're real familiar with it)!

Whew...When I saw the title of this thread...I thought you had already wrecked the car after one day. As you get more experience driving it and start pushing it a bit more and more (which you will do), be careful of the 3rd to 4th gear change...since most everyone has done the inadvertant 3rd to 2nd missed-gear. ITs easy to do if you don't grip the stock shifter/knob differently when you try a fast shift from 3rd to 4th. Ergo why many opt for an aftermarket shifter. Just be aware of it and you'll be good.

Don't take a left at a four way, gun it and go side ways in first, shift into second, go more sideways in an attempt to drift, realize your in trouble, hit the brakes, and wind up looking at the cars that were behind you....with your wife in the car who's not amused by stuff like that.

Mine won't even go for a drive. Doesn't want to mess up her hair. It's better to leave them at home. You can hear the exhaust better.

Get this....after that happened, she didnt want to ride in it anymore. And the "teach me to drive it" requests ended. Worked out great!

Thanks for all the replies guys. She goes by #255. I pm gladd I bought the FE. I would only be more happy with a 2014. The car scared the sht out of me today. Almost lost her, came about 6 inches from fishtailing the ass end into a F250. I gassed her to much while trying to pass. Thank god I regained control. Now I'm petrified. Sudden unsmooth operations are NO GOOD in a viper. Close call and only had it 2-3 days now.

Congrat's on your first Viper. I had a 97 B/W that was very solid. Had exhaust, intake, and was an Arrow rebuild. Strong stock Viper, plus it had a 250 wet/dry NX system.

Listen to others on here and take it seriously. Get used to the Torque for awhile. Point it straight, and then punch it at first. Let your tires warm up, or heat them up "grin".

You will get used to it, and then before you know it you will be able to do the Viper slither with no problemo. Car is waay too much fun after you get a "handle" of it.

Enjoy.

AWESOME! Congrats! Enjoy - keep it straight when accelerating until you have a good amount of seat time.

Yeah...unfortunately, more guys than gals. I did do a roll-on with a Vette Saturday with a beautiful brunette in his passenger seat. She was all smiles (windows down) until I owned him for a second time. Nothing but pouts & frowns onher face from that point on. Poor girl. I wonder what the conversation was after they turned off...

Yeah, it's weird when people film you as you're... driving to work...

But they don't know that. They saw a neat car! I still plant my face to my window when other Vipers (or other cool cars) drive by. Even when I'm in mine. :)
