New Viper Hardtop Storage Rack - Moveable

Check out this new rack that we came up with and tell me what you think, it is a little over engineered but repainting can be very costly so we wanted to make sure that nothing happened to the top. We will be selling these out of our manufacturing facility until we turn them over to a distributor. We are always looking at ways to improve our products so if you have any suggestions please respond.

In terms of suggestions, you might consider selling it with some sort of bonnet (car cover material) that would protect from dust and minor dings when stored in the garage for the summer months where the top is kept off for extended periods.

Thanks, I am glad that you like it. The top pcs slide in and out for easy access and each part that touches the top is cushioned so the top will not get scratched. I store my top in one of these exact racks(it was the prototype). We will be coming out with other Viper items soon. If you know of something that is needed for Viper owners that is not already made or needs some refinement please contact me, we are always looking for new ideas.

This is a market test, we honestly do not know what to ask. The Corvette catalogs charge $199.00 for corvette racks but we have not seen one in person. Ours seems to be built alot sturdier and we have the top supports that they do not have but we have not put them side by side to compare. Great idea on the cover, we have been looking for a storage bag with a Viper head but we have not found exactly what we want yet.

I love it. I do agree that some sort of lined bag should accompany it to ensure the top doesn't get dinged sitting in the garage. Let me know when production starts. Right now I'm using the ladder hook idea I found here several months ago. Good luck

After the auction ends I will decide on the standard pricing for the rack, then we will start taking orders. We are thinking that from the time we receive an order we can have the product ready to ship within 5 working days, we are going to try to keep finished product on the floor so the customer can get the product sooner. The problem is that we do not know what the demand will be. I would love to make up 50 sets and put them on the floor but will they be shipped in a month or a year? Right now we are building 2 sets and they will be finished next week, if we get orders after that we will be ready for full production immediately. I appreciate the feedback and the questions, we need more quality aftermarket parts for Vipers at lower cost and that is what we are going to try to accomplish with our company.
