newbie question -- how to open hood!!!

OK, I feel really stupid, I picke dup my 93 today, but how do you open the hood? I know the latch is at the front, you raise the front slightly, how do you release/raise the sides?

Lean over and grab the hood as close to the middle as you can and lift it up. At the bottom of the windshield.

1/ open using the latch in the front
2/reach in and press on the second latch and lift the hood open some more
3/ then reach and grab the towards the middle of the hood where it meets the windsheild and try and lift up

Be very carful when doing so making sure that you don't bend the hinge and or flex the hood much or your paint may crack. Also be advised that every viper I have seen in person are next to impossable to open by yourself, the latches on the side always seem to grab and another set of hands is always needed.
