Noobie with new SRT-10

I finally pulled the trigger on a new 06'SRT-10 Coupe. My friend Darren Buhler gave me an awesome deal on VOI9 # 89/100 with the trade in of my 00' C5. So glad to be out of the Vette and into the VIPER. After driving the Viper I don't even really consider the Vette a real sports car. The fit and finish of the Viper is so much better than the Vette and the ride is so much tighter in the Viper. I love the two tone interior of the VOI9.Darren is a pleasure to do business with and a real gentleman. I highly recommend his dealership to anyone looking to make a purchase. I'm glad to finally be a member of VCA. Hope to see some of you at some future gatherings. Here are some pics.

I came from an '02 Z06, which I would never knock, but I do agree the cars are an entirely different breed. Have fun and please be careful, she can bite you in a hurry. The Vette is rather docile in comparison....

Yes, now that I am driving a Viper I can honestly say that I do wonder why I was driving a Vette. I didn't want to make the same mistake twice by going to the new ZO6 with all of it's recalls and Tech. Service Bulletins. If I would have test drove the Viper before I bought the Vette 5 years ago, I would have been in one sooner. The handeling, fit and finish, and ride quality of the Viper is so much better than the Vette.I'm very happy with the switch and will never go back to GM!!
