Hey- I started my 97 gts the other day and the oil light was on at start up-the oil gauge showed no pressure-

I replaced what I beleive is the oil pressure sender-is this it or the oil pressure switch?

After the swap it still is showing no pressure- so I figured mabey the relief vale is stuck open, I removed the oil housing that holds the oil filter, and has the 2 cooler lines going to it.

Under that it looks like this-

Where exactly is the oil pump relief valve that I think is stuck open-

I doubt there is anything blocking the oil sump pickup, I juts had the oil changed 2 weeks ago. the oil level is fine.

thanks

Under those two caps are the relief valves, there are two. With a soft hammer tap on the case and they should pop out. There will be a spring and then the valve.
