All of the local vendors in my area that sell Mobil 1 only have the 0-40 in what is labeled "European Formula", earlier in the year it did not have that on the label. Any experts out there know if there is any difference

no, no difference. M1 gave a bunch of their formulas goofy names last year, many of them have since been removed because of the confusion it caused.
