Paint 2-piece rotor hats???

Anyone ever paint rotor hats? Any specific paint used? Can you apply paint with them on the car(remove wheels of course)? Happy with results? Thanks.

get em powdered. about the same cost, much more durable, better finish, you'll be happier you did.

Probably would be better, however, I want to do this myself. Anybody done this?

any paint will simply burn off the first time you get the rotor/hats really hot
Maybe ceramic header coating will stand that kind of heat - I seriously doubt anodizing will last much long than paint

Caliper paint holds up pretty well.

Be sure to scuff with some fine steel wool, and clean/de-grease good.

PepBoys has caliper paint.
