Part out a Viper

Dang why try to sell a Gen 11 Viper? Saw in a Hot Rod Magazine that a new hood was $16,000.00, .Mines perfect and painted...Red.
Hmmmmmm. Doors, wheels, new tires, bumpers. $15000. low mile engine... rear end..Man, sounds like a $100,00.00 car..

Rot Rod Magazine has no clue how much you can get new hoods for. 10 years ago, maybe 12,000. Today you can source one for 3-4K for a perfect specimen. Some go on ebay for a grand (without shipping).

That said, you could probably part one out for 30K if you had a car with no damage. Dang close to where some are selling.

Just making a statement as read in this Octobers 'Hot Rod' hood was at DC Performance and a factory hood in the caption read. from Chrysler @ $16,000. Check the magazine.
Probably get one on eBay for 1/3rd that but that wasn't the point!!:rolaugh:
