Hey guys,
On Sean's VEC 2 you will be able to add a nitrous trigger to energize your solenoids...like a rpm activated switch or a window switch. All you will need to do is make a nitrous card and a motor only card...all of which you can change any time you want. With Jason's set up it is a new program period...non-adjustable unless you send it back to him. I read something about his programming not using any adaptive figures after the reflash....I don't know if this is true, but if it is, it will never learn as you drive. What happens as the plugs wear, different driving styles...etc. He is tuning off of a WOT dyno pull, does that mean it is going to be rich all through the rpm band? All I know is, after using the retard version of the VEC 2, the advance version would have to be completely awesome on a N/A car...you can build your own timing and fuel curves to suit your car all year round. I think Jason's programming is a easy and cool way to go if he uses the JTEC adaptive memory. He is limited on tuning unless he has the car at his facility or you make multiple dyno pulls and keep sending your pcm to him to reprogram. I just think there is more room to grow with the VEC 2. Just my opinion...
Later,
Joe
