Darn Jerry, 28 words spelled correctly. Not bad.

Hope you are doing well back in Cal. Weather here finally turned so I can now accumulate some miles on the SRT. 500 miles is taking FOREVER!

I'd also like the edit time extended. I feel stupid when I realize a day after I posted that i made a mistake that i can't fix.

Although I cannot compete with 973, 975 or 3138 posts I agree TOO!

  • The prior board had NO expiration of edit time
  • This new format is on a 3 hour string to edit
  • I don't EVER recall some kind of abuse or reason to have any limit on this
  • Was this just a result of new software (in which case just turn it off or set to 10 years) or a policy change?

  • If memory serves...I believe a few of the banned then unbanned came back and edited a bunch of thier posts. Not to the liking of the mods. I understand a limit, but three hours is not enough. Maybe something like a week would be better.

It is a function of the software, nothing more, nothing less.

FACT: There is a limit
FACT: It can be adjusted

I'll ask some questions and try to effect some change. :)
