Prefix 1 of 1 Viper Package
Prefix has developed a Viper package for clients wanting the highest quality customized interior and exterior styling available. Beginning with a production Viper Coupe or Roadster the finest SETON leathers and custom embroidery are used to create a vehicle like no other.

Prefix has a working relationship with DaimlerChrysler and specifically their SRT (Street & Racing Technology) Division. The extended value of this program is that SRT may soon endorse Prefix in creating custom Vipers unique to every customer.

Dealerships will offer the Prefix designed Viper Package.
Upon ordering the purchasing dealer will select the “Factory Pick Up/Delivery Option”. This allows Prefix to receive the vehicle from the Connor Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit Michigan and transport in a closed carrier to their facility approximately 20 miles north.
Upon receipt of the Vehicle at Prefix the new owner, a Prefix Program Manager and Designer will review packages options and content at Prefix, in Rochester Hills, MI. An overnight stay and dinner arrangements will be accommodated.

Interior:

To begin, a base color pallet will be reviewed, leather and thread options will be determined. A base pallet of colors will be available however custom colors can be accommodated.
Remove and discard existing seat covers. Hand pattern and sew using Seton Fine Leathers complete seat covers. Necessary foam modifications can be made based on the customer needs. Seat stitching and design. Embroidered headrest and color stitching or seat trim piping are available.
Both RH and LH door trim panels will be removed and Seton Fine Leathers will cover the lower portions of each door trim panel. Carrying out the design the lower portion of the instrument panel including the glove box door and knee bolster will be trimmed in fine leather and further carrying into the center console tunnel and up and over the bulkhead. The console armrest will be leather wrapped and an embroidered Viper medallion will be embossed in the armrest.
Following the interior leather trimmed theme the A-Pillar posts will be wrapped in leather and optional suede and/or diamond stitched headliner will tie it all together. Coupe models will have the rear bull head trimmed with leather covering most all the interior plastic componentry.
Accent parts such as the center console shift bezel and instrument panel center stack part will be painted or graphics included as well. Real Carbon fiber weave is available too!!!
Hardware items; the shift knob, shift boot, park handle and boot will be trimmed in Seton Fine Leathers with accent stitching to enhance the design.
Finishing off the cockpit will be a hand sewn all leather steering wheel, sun-visors and roll bar pads all tying in the accents of a complete interior.
Leather and accent pieces make an interior special but nothing finishes it off like hand patterned and fitted wool carpeting and mats with embroidered logo to complete the cockpit.

Exterior:

As most know the Vipers have only been offered in a select pallet of colors. PREFIX can offer any color option available or even hand mixed one-off colors of candy, metallic and pearl clear coats. The dual racing stripe is always a great accent feature but the fang stripe or even a single off-set stripe with a black out rear-end would make for a stunning show look. All stripes, airbrushing design, signatures or emblems will be painted in the base paint coat and then covered in several layers of clear coat and completely flat sanded to a mirror finish. Finally, finishing off the painted components Prefix offers the option to paint wheels, calipers and valve covers to match or give a spectacular look of pearl clear, carbon or metallic finish.

I gotta tell you, these guys do some beautitul work. Each and every detail of the work they did was great. The cars that are the 1 of 1 program were really sharp. The facility was spotless. I'm considerinh having them do some work on my car.

This sounds like an idea from the German side of DC. This is how AMG started out for MB and Alpine and Dinan, still does this for BMW.

It's a great idea, I just hope it's not going to be called a " Pre-Fixed Viper":-( Just don't like the ring.

The Saleen was not at the Prefix plant. Though that same car was at Woodward in the Saleen display.

Here are a few pictures. First 2 are of the VOI edition cars (this one just happened to be at the final inspection station).

ZDigital there is also a pic of your car taken apart.

Thanks for sharing the image of my SRT at Prefix! I appreciate it. I'm anxious to see it complete and most of all to get her back so I can do some driving before winter sets in.

The snake skin interior and roll hoops are a little gaudy to me. Reminds me of the tiger skin interior in Tony Montana's Caddy in "Scarface". Obviously, I like the wing on the SRTC and I imagine it helps keep the car planted at speed! :2tu:

The wing was stated to provide 500 lb of downforce at 150 mph. They did not have data indicating what the splitter provided up front.

That's what I thought...very functional. I'll bet it also gives the rear end good lateral stability at speed with those end plates. If I had a SRTC I would definitely get the front splitter and wing! :2tu:

Looks like Prefix also paints the diffusers. Looks like a flat black without a clear.

White with black stripes would be nice, tints and lowered.
