It's been very cold in WA State for the last few days. This Viper was sitting out for a few days. During my test drive I noticed the Gears were very hard to shift. Used full force to go from one to the other.
It has softened a bit, but still very stiff......Something to be concerned about?
As for shocks what do you recommend for a smoother ride? The ones it has currently need to be replaced.
Car has 30K Miles.
Also Anyone has done any Lighting Upgrades (LED) front and back. Is a low voltage resistor needed?
I'd welcome any suggestions from you lovely folks.

New to the Forum.

Very Excited to be a Viper Owner and part of the VIPER family.

Thank you all.

Stiff shifting when cold is pretty normal if it's running the OEM fluid (Castrol Syntorq). I've driven my 04 in the teens and 20s for temps and the first couple of shifts were like stirring syrup. Once you get a little heat in the box it should loosen up. You could potentially switch over to ATF to loosen things up. That was the factory fill in both the earlier and later transmissions (technically Dexron III in the pre-gen 3 cars and ATF in gen 4+). I run it in the T56 in my Dart. The main reason they went to a thicker oil was because of audible rattling in neutral. I can hear it in my Dart and understand what they mean, but there's no real harm in it, just annoyance.

We have Interior and Exterior LED kits. In the process of a revision right now, but pending results I should have one in stock.

I bought @Viper Specialty interior and exterior kits. Tackled the exterior one today. Not a bad job. Will have to have the fast flash taken care of and the front turn signals dont alternate like original, but I beleive there is a harness you can add to fix that. The kits are quite comprehensive and make a world of difference. Highly recommend his kits.
