Purner 16\" drag wheel questions

We're installing a set of Purner's 16" rear drag wheels on Ben's '01 RT/10. We know that the '01 banjo bolts needs to be cut down to clear the wheel, but we don't want to go too far and compromise the strength of the bolt. We shaved off almost all the head, and it still didn't clear. We took out the thick copper washers, installed thin washers, and it _still_ doesn't clear.
I know someone on this board has done this on a '01. How did you get them to clear?

Yikes, Bill......

I only clicked on the post to warn that the otherwise great Purner drag combo will not work on '01 Rear w/ the larger rotor, caliper and ABS.

Now I know WHY it wont work.......

Jon,
I was aware that the '01s had a different rear caliper, but I thought the rotor was the same size as previous years. Is this not the case?

The issue is not the rotor or the ABS, it's the banjo bolt that holds the brake line to the caliper. We should have the caliper issue worked out next week. I'll let you all know probably by next Wednesday...
