On the GTS forum, I asked whether the Gen II and Gen III Vipers used direct throttle linkages instead of the 'drive-by-wire' servo throttle systems used on some cars. They said the Gen II's used direct linkages, but no one knew about the Gen IIIs. Does anyone have their SRT handy, to check to see if the Gen III has a direct throttle air valve link? One of my vehicles uses drive-by-wire, and I don't like it much. The programming is too conservative, and the computer limits the air valve opening under certain conditions. I'm hoping the Gen III's have a direct link throttle. Anyone know?
