I thought you were gonna say that you found snow on the way from Los Angeles up the 14 fwy to WillowSprings! I was thinking "no way", before I saw the location in your signature!
You must really love tracking your car to make a trek like that. I guess its not that uncommon, as some people travel from coast to coast doing events.
For a change of scenery, when you get to California, you can drive through the Mojave desert on your way to the next Viper Days! Many people don't know the desert is full of changing colors, tricks of the evening light when the sun sets, glorious looking skies, wild animals, strange bushes and whacky looking trees! Should be a good change of pace from winter snow...

Moved up to Montana three years ago after living in San Diego for 30 years.
Was really looking forward to Willow springs since I had raced my motorcycle there many times.
The Viper driving season here is from June to October, short to say the least, but during the winter I have two ski areas within 60 miles and 1000's of beautiful National Forest to snowmobile in.
We have many homeowners that have their second home here or just own a few thousand acres to come visit when they get tired of the city. For example the CEO of Intel owns the ranch next to mine.

Bummer dude,
Towing in the snow is major scary, you did the right thing. In the old days you would bought a plow and made your own road.
You should consider flying in and rent the Comp Coupe,,, anyways stay in touch...
