Rear Diffusers ???

First, how much does this help especially on RT/10's with the build up of dust/sand/dirt??? I've been dancing around the idea of installing some. I have seen the single blades for sale on ebay several times and even seen em around other sites. The costs are fair at best on these around the searching. I'd really like to know how much they are going to help before buying and putting holes in anything.

To answer your question about the dust... Don't know. But I'm in the process of designing and building my own, and it will not require any additional holes be drilled in the car. And we are talking more than just some blades stuck underneath. Those are barely even a diffuser by the definition of one.

Yes, they do work. The only time I get dust on the back of the car is when I back up. That dust is kicked up by the rear exhaust obviously.. I got them from XVIPERS. When I was there last week he had a box of them. He had some stainless diffusers also

we have them in stainless, poweder coated black, brush, or polish.

we also have them in oem style aluminum, poweder coated black, brush, polished.

Yup, gonna make my diffuser to cover the unused rear exhaust hole. Of course we'll balance that look with side and front splitters. Nev-er a dull moment.

I posted this over in my aero build thread, but I'm starting to become more impressed that at least the diffuser as I have built it does seem to do a pretty good gob of keeping the dust and more importantly sand off the rear of the car. After doing the detail job I did with the Scratch-X compound getting off years of rear exhaust soot, it's easy to tell the new dirt now. Much better. I'm curious if just the blades alone have the same effect?

I've had the blades alone on for about a month. I've been on several drives and they help a ton. When I return there is still light sand and dirt on the lower area of the bumper. The car is obviously black and every little spec shows. I am very happy with the overall outcome
