The wing available from PartsRack (I used one on my 98 GTS pictured at left) really works and the dual platform version is even stronger. The wing from TNT is also the real deal. The GTSR uses a shape closer to that of the SVSI wing, another favorite for serious trackhounds.

These things are not neutral like the ones on the GT2, they really bite creating significant downforce and drag if set to do so. You'll need to consider retuning your springs and shocks if going above freeway speeds and consider a splitter in front to balance the rear downforce. I noticed the combination of wing and spiltter on my car really hampered acceleration above 120-140 mph but the car stayed planted. In fact the whoop de doos on a country road at speed became fasten your five points time if you didn't want to smack the top of your head on the cabin ceiling, the car stayed glued to the pavement and there were sparks to prove it (like I said, check those springs).

The Pacific Northwest VCA had some shots of the wing in it's garage site on their website, maybe they are still there. A Viper isn't exactly a low profile vehicle but put a wing on the thing and the way people stare you'll feel like you are in a parade.

I have been looking for one too. the cheapest I have found is the Autoform for 1600 PAINTED. It has an unusual mount that I cannot quite make out from the pictures in their catalog. Does anyone on this site have an Autoform wing on a GTS and could you please post a picture showing how it mounts?

Actually I think it mounts to a plate behind the license plate. Seems you could remove it without leaving any holes. Does anyone have one on the board?

I fitted a genuine GT2 rear wing to my beloved. I removed the rear panel, that houses the tail lights / license plate. Drilled the holes for the wing bolts to pass through (either side of the stripes, in the panel after the hatch glass). I then made some strong metal brackets up, that bolt up to the wing bolts, and the stronger inner skin that goes onto the frame. (I understand that the GT2's have such a bracket.) I found it quite an easy DIY job, and must of done OK as wing has been fine at + 160 mph.

(I was so excited when fitting the wing, that I impatiently cut up my garden gate to source the metal to make the brackets...oops!)

Check with Dodge dealer / Partsrack, wing is about $1500 I think, and you'll need to part with about another $250 to have professionally sprayed your Viper colours. Warning...after fitting a wing you'll keep looking at it, not good to take eyes off road ahead when driving, take care!
