Can someone post of pic of the ring and pinion set up? I have a 3:45 set from my 91 ZR1 Vette in my basement. Someone told me they thought it would work in the Viper as well. If I remember correctly, when I had the 3:45's removed from the ZR1, they used the part number for the Viper gears on the new 4:11 set that went into the Vette(although I have never heard of 4:11's for a Viper).

See I heard the same thing, the Dana 44 that we have is the exact same as the C4 vettes. But I have yet to get any hard proof that the gears are the same.

I also heard that the C5 rear end and the Viper are the same. C5 only

I purchased a set of oem from this guy a while back.I called him and got the correct year info.

What's the difference between the gears this place sells as compared to the $400+ Unitrax gears found on Roe Racing's site?

Without asking him,I dont know that answer.The ones I purchased from him a year or two ago were oe spicer gears.I purchased everything including all bearings and install kit for under 200.00.

my pinion looks the same, but where yours bevels down, mine does not. I may or may not try the swap. I just don't know how 680rwhp would do with a 3:45 gear, probably not well
