I HAVE A 94 RT10 AND WHEN IM GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY IT RUNS BETWEEN THE 3 TICKS AROUND 190. BUT IF I WAS TOO STOP IN TRAFFIC IT WILL GO UP TO THE YELLOW IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.AND I GET SCARED THAT ITS GOING TO BLOW A HOSE OR WHATEVER IT MIGHT DO. HOW CAN I FIX IT? SOMEBODY TOLD ME TO BURP IT? HOW?

Also, once you burp it, if you have an FSM, read the section on cooling...Mine (at least the 96 version) give a good bit of detail on how much movement of the temp gauge is normal. Mine sites 5/8 travel to be normal, but it sounds like your gauge goes higher than that.
