I finally got the car tuned after my s/c heads install. Some of you will remember my post when it was in for a dyno tune about 6 weeks ago and coolant came flying out of the heads because they weren't torqued right - because there was coolant in the bolt holes leading me to find 2 broken valve guides when the heads were removed. All has been put back together and brought back to the shop for the tune. I am relatively happy with the results although there still are some bugs. Mainly the car acts like it hits a rev limiter when it hits about 5900 rpm. The shop talked with Roe and sent them log files and Sean said that the problem seems to be that the injectors are at full duty cycle at 5900 rpm and this causes some type of problem with the vec 2. We were advised that the vec 3 would address this problem.

:rolaugh:I would like to thank Sean for the time he spent with the shop helping with the tune!

The dyno run 007 in blue is with the water/**** and the other run is a tune without it.

Great to see it back together and on the dyno again
Nice #s

why would you need to run it past 5900 anyway?
what injectors are you running?

Thanks everyone- it's been an interesting journey to say the least.
As far as how it runs- They gave me 2 tunes, 1 with the w/m and 1 a little less aggressive without. I have been using the w/m tune and it is definitely a little rough around the edges. Full throttle is fine but there are some hiccups in mid rpm range with partial throttle. I haven't tried the tune without the w/m yet. I am thinking of taking the tune without the w/m and adding it to see how that runs.

damn nice numbers. hows it run ?

enjoy it !!!
