So the brakes on my 2000 GTS were good enough to help me miss the two deer standing in road last night. Unfortunately, the passenger side seat belt rides too high to keep my wife from sliding under it and **** near out of her seat (She's 5'1").
She is most displeased needless to say. Any suggestions/comments/concerns about adjusting them so this doesn't happen to her in an emergency situation? Or should I just use the five-points on her all the time ;-)

Thanks in advance!

Just kidding. I played around with lowering the loop on the seat on mine because I have the same problem. Although its beacuse Im short.

I dont know if you have an RT or a GTS but its probably the same. I am in the process to lowering the routing loop that is attached to the seat so the belt isnt around my neck all the time

You may want to play around with that.

Or the 5 point. But thats not very trick.

Good luck.

GLad you missed the deer.

My girlfriend is 5'1", we went to Walmart and bought a child seatbelt adapter. It is trianglar shaped and snaps onto the 3 point belt at the buckle. It also stops the belt from cutting into her neck during normal driving.

The Child Seatbelt adapter is a good idea. As well as the velcro-on padded OE harness pads.....$36/pair, Viper logo and script, in colors.........

PS:
When PartsRack has TeamTech build harnesses for Vipers, we always ask the general size of the seat occupant! One-Size-Fits-All is good for a sweatshirt, but not a padded safety harness.

Example: We just orderd a set for a 6'1" 220lb husband, with a 5.0' 100 lb wife. Her harness pads will be built accordingly smaller, (about 85% of his) with appropriate hardware placements. The padding would then ride "low" and yet comfortable for a full-size adult, and still be safe.....but we avoid riding "high" on the primary, short-statured occupant.

Be glad Team Tech THINKS of these things on your behalf! And, TTs can be re-webbed for 65% cost if ever damaged, outgrown, or outdated-expired....or if you just want a new color!

Glad you missed the deer.....I had one kick my gas cap open as he jumped over. HONEST !!!
