I keep getting letters from DaimlerChrysler about purchasing an extended service contract. As of now, the engine and powertrain have a 7 year/70,000 mile limited warranty and the other components in my snake are covered for 3 years/36,000 miles.

I would like to have the entire car covered for 7 years/70,000 miles. To do so, it would cost me $2480.

Is this a good price? Furthermore, is the extended warranty worth it? I have one for my Suburban and the few times I brought it in for service they would tell me that whatever needed repair is not covered. Is this the same with DaimlerChrysler service contracts? Thanks in advance! :2tu:

When I was faced with this same decision, I thought of what $2480 would give me in MODS! :D

That being said, call Chuck Tator, he'll most likely SMASH that price! :2tu:

Same here, call Chuck Tator. He is a Dodge dealer that gives big discounts to VCA members. I have bought a couple of extended service contracts for my Dodge vehicles at a discounted price. Dont' hesitate to call him, as he is very pleasant to deal with.
