speaker question for our GTS............

going to replace all speakers in a GTS, going to use 2-way speaker for both doors, because already got factory tweeters, but for the back panel speaker....should i go with 2-way too or 3-way?? also if i wanna replace the CD player, is there any model of aftermaket CD player i can just "plug & play" without change or rewire the factory harness?? thanks

Most all aftermarked CD makers are making connector harneses that allow you to plug directly into the existing harness. I haven't looked into the Viper specifically but I'm guessing it uses a generic dodge harness and you shouldn't have a problem finding one for what ever CD player you get.

Unfortunately, there isn't a generic Dodge harness for the CD player. I know this from direct experience... the factory setup consists of a headunit that requires the factory amp that's in the trunk. If you go with an aftermarket unit, you'll have to either splice wires into the speaker wires or run an aftermarket amp (which still has to be spliced into the speaker wires).
