Speedometer fitment?

Hello

i would like to fit a km/h speedometer in my 2001 Gts instead of the mp/h
I have found one in germany but it stands that it is from a 96 Rt10.

Can someone tell me if it would fit in my 2001 for sure?

The partnumber from the km/h speedo is 04763853AB maybe that helps.

It should fit right in, BUT the 2001 has a silver ring around the gauges, the 96 does not, so it will look odd. Plus doesn't the 96 RT speedos only go up to 180 whereas your 2001 goes to 200?

i have seen right now that there is real a silver ring around it.

I know that the old ones goes to 180 and mine goes to 200 but with the km/h it goes to 360 and the small miles in red to 220.

Maybe the rings around are changeable

The rings are interchangeable but are a huge pain in the butt to swap. It will be hard to find a ring by itself but I have a spare speedo I am selling for 120 shipped in the classifieds. It has the silver ring and the ring is already loose and ready to take off.
