Hey guys & gals,

Does anyone here has a squeak in their suspension? Such as a rubber bushing squeak? My 02' GTS always squeaks when I'm getting in and out or when I go slow over speed bumps. Before anyone ask, is not my weight. I only weight 180 lbs.
The noise is just sometimes annoying or embarrassing. I have sprayed the bushings with a squeaky belt spray and it only temporarily. Any suggestions?

Just remember that any light lubricant like that will have a finite life span. It will either get washed out or dry up etc. Assuming you don't drive you car in the rain but you do wash it then either way, water will expel aerosol lubricants, let alone the fact they can just plain evaporate.

The benefit to the lube with the PTFE is that the PTFE in a non volatile solid of sorts. It will stay after the oil or solvent carrier is long gone. But will still need replenishing on some basis.

We use Ru-Glyde from NAPA. Works great on rubber bushings!! :2tu:

Interesting cocktail that stuff looks like. How long does an application last?

SODIUM BICHROMATE
Fraction by Wt: 1%

ETHYLENE GLYCOL
Fraction by Wt: 5-15%

TRISODIUM HYDROXYETHYLETHYLENEDIAMINE TRIACETATE
Fraction by Wt: 1-5%

POTASSIUM VEGETABLE OIL SOAP
Fraction by Wt: 30-45%
