SRT 10 Clutch Problems

My CLutch was not right since day one and the service department just called and said a New CLutch and Throwout bearing is needed!

He told me that This one is one them that they dont usually cover clutches!!! LOL I said the car only has 1200 miles! Regardless Im glad the car is being fixed and Dodge is paying the BILL!

I would say the clutch was bad, because of glazing, due to being unable to disengage it. This is exactly what was wrong with my car when I went to purchase it, and it had only 400 miles on it. Failure with the hydro system was the cause, or possibly just air in it. who knows. They are acting like they are doing you a favor replacing it.

Most clutches will have some burnished areas on them, and work great, but since it's in warranty they need to replace it for sure. Then again if the burnished areas are to deep, replacement is needed. They must replace the flywheel also. I hope they are going to.

Then call me and we will talk about putting a great setup in the car.
Most warranty work will not allow you to put any upgrade in the car. Not all some are more Viper freindly than others.
