Vipera Russelli is actually a pit viper (aren't they all?) that kills more people in Africa every year than any other snake (via a bit of HEMOTOX, you might say), which was initially identified, classed and catalogued by a guy named, um . . .
In other news, it's good you find yourself so humorous, as you're likely your most loyal audience and few things are as important as keeping yourself laughing. I find that my particular sense of humor has either grown on me or developed for my audience over the years. Whatever the case, I can be quite entertained by it as well, although sometimes I do spoil it by seeing the punch line coming from almost the beginning of my delivery. No matter. I laugh anyway--I'm a huge fan . . . protecting a fragile ego . . . from a demanding but supportive audiance . . .
