I’ve got the B&M in and it’s a nice change. After some reading I’ve decided on lowering the shifter and ordered the 2in IPSCO. I’m worried it’ll be too low. Anyone have pics of a gen2 with a 1in or 2in drop? Thanks!

2" on any factory knob - I've run them all ('92-'98; 99+; GEN4/5 ACR). If you have '92-'98 you can run the 1", but after living with the 2" on that knob, I wouldn't go 1".

1" is best suited for aftermarket shift balls with an adapter so it doesn't sit level with the console.

Yeah thats what Ive read and why I went with the 2in drop. I like the stock handle perfectly well, it just sits so high. Thanks!

I like the 1” drop with the Gen 4 ACR knob as the shaft on the knob is already 1” shorter. I like the 2” drop on the stock gen 1/2 knob.
