STRAIGHT PIPE......

Does anybody sell straight pipe for the Viper? I've run long tubes, no cats and straight pipe on all of my Vettes and will continue with the Vipe. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

We made or own for my car ,but it was too loud and popped way too much. You may not be as happy as you think with it. So I went with Corsa's and Hi flow cats. My buddy is running no cats but still has Corsa's in and it is LOUD but no popping.

Maybe I'm deaf. My buddy has no cats, b&b's and a huge cam and it's still not loud enough. He had WCV do the work but I was wondering if a manufacturer made it or I had to have it custom made? Thanks.

Dude...

I have no cats, 32" mufflers (6" diameter) and Vortex cones...

it is almost unbearable, and I LOVE loud cars.... my chopper has no mufflers, and the Viper is louder.

I'd reconsider if I were you...

Either you suffer from hearing loss, or the mufflers I have ****.

they have a lot of fiberglass, they are thick and HEAVY, like 18 lbs/pop.... they should do the work, but my car is a monster...

I had B&B's on my Porsche and they were very loud!!

No can do. I have a severe case of little mans complex that needs to be fufilled. Plus this is a weekend toy. I drove my Z around for 2 years uncapped daily. This will be a walk in the park even though the exhaust is right by my ear. Thats what they make 2k watt sytems for.

D your old set up has bullet mufflers right? Still might not be loud enough for Mr. Z06.

I'm running the 3" Corsa Track with no cats. The track is almost a straight pipe...it is not perforated like other mufflers. It's got a few holes at the end of each section that release pressure into a chamber....all it muffles are the backfires and pops. If I blip the throttle next to another unsuspecting driver, they practicly jump out the window or they get ********** and yell something at me. I can never hear what they're saying. lol. I wanted to see how loud it was so Mike and I switched cars. He blasted by me a few times...it really does hurt your ears.

Add headers to that combo and it may infact be unbearable. I'll try to get a sound clip up.

I want straight through no muffling at all. I'm trying to get some weight off this car as well. I dont want little mufflers. Do the bullets have mufflers on them?

Maybe just try a reputable(by referral) exhaust or hot rod shop, and just have one made. Good luck w/ your hunt and project.
