Okay, I'm trying to visualize all these mod combos, but now I'm confused.
I thought "cat" was short for catalytic converter.
So then how can you have "Borla cat back" and "factory cats" on at the same time?
Someone please explain this. Thanks.

cat back is everything "after" the cat, not including the catalyst itself.

Borla cat back = components behind the cat ( does not include cat )
Factory cat = cat converter ( does not include cat back components )

Borla cat back and factory cat = cat and all components out back of car

Great info,
Now how about throwing on a set of gears so that we can put that question of whether lower gears measure lower HP on the dyno thing to rest once and for all :D

The car was moving more volume be not increasing fuel. I have been forced to use a VEC1 to keep my A/F ratio stable.

Hope this helps someone. ;)

Eric,
I would suppose that this is because the engine is in open loop for most of the rpm range on a dyno pull. It is running off the base tuning map and not able to adjust pulse width or timing to suit the better VE.

That's really great info. Thanks for posting your results.
