My set of 19 and 20 inch HREs are comin soon, and I'd like to minimize the wheel well space. I don't know much about suspension, so what would I have to do to accomplish this? I'm assuming just getting a set of motons would work, but that is a bit pricy. Is there a set of springs that I could get to do this, or new shocks?

Jon B has some "caps" that fit on your existing shocks that will lower the car a little less than an inch I believe. Check his site for price ( which I think is somewhere between $200 and $300 ). If you need/want more lowering it'll be big buck time but you may want to try these first.

I just completed installing Motons. My first impression - it's totally worth it. Still have some tweaking to do but the car drives better from the get go. You can read on this forum that lowering with stock springs and shocks is a no go - shocks won't take it.

I can't wait for an alternative to Motons because it's not fun having all this torque if i can't even lay rubber because of the wheel hop. It's pretty rediculous.
