Do you guys know who makes or can rebuild a t56 to handle around 800-1000hp. This for my 1970 camaro and the transmission is out of a 1997 camaro, should be the same hp rating as my viper transmission, right? What can a stock t56 handle?

thanks guys.

He keeps a stock rebuild on hand at all times, but can also install all the Rockland Gear parts to build a special version. I have shorter 5th and 6th ratios. ALger will have a good understanding of using a Viper T-56 in Camaro as he has rebuilt/removed/installed hundreds.

Hey, that's right next to my office under I-10......lovely neighborhood I might add. :hitfan:

My office is under the ramp from SB I-17 to EB I-10 and there is an expansion joint for the ramp right over my office. All you hear is the thumping of vehicle wheels driving over it. I don't even notice it anymore.

And how does this help with your trasmission problem? Hell if I know. :bonker:
