Temperature Gage Question

When the car is turned off (and have been off for a while), is it normal for the Temperature gage to not go all the way down? After having the car since late August of last year, i just noticed this on my car, so am not sure if this is normal or not. Thank you for any input.

Mine goes all the way down. I am sure it doesn't matter if it doesn't go all the way down as long as it is fairly accurate.

Yours goes all the way down? Should i be concern then that mine doesn't? Come to think of it, i remember that it used to go all the way down. I think i'm going to go and check on the car now.
