At only 8k miles on my '03, I was experiencing a shifting problem. When vehicle was driven normally, it required more effort than you'd expect to change gears. It was the last 1/4 inch of shifter movement into gear that actually required muscle-obviously not good. Chuck took a look and diagnosed the problem to do with a damaged / misaligned clutch pressure plate. What I didn't realize was the problem existed for a while and I think just got progressively worse. Chuck replaced the necessary clutch components and flyweel, and added an MGW short shift knob at my request. The car shifts like butter now, like it was supposed to in the first place - I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else for service, not even an oil change. Thanks Chuck for a first rate job!
