Throttle adjustment

My lease on my '05 was up and I purchased an '08. I know the '08 has a throttle by wire. My question, is there an adjustment on the gas pedal in the '08 to make the pedal throw longer? It seems as if the '05 had a longer throw and you could modulate the pedal better whereas the '08 is too sensitive.
