I would not want to question the strength of CCW wheels. I have used them as track wheels, and even with sticky hoosiers, they never waivered. Lots of track guys use them, and they are much stronger than stock wheels. Purners prices are hard to beat. They do not have quite the finish of HRE, but the strength is not an issue. His wheels tend to be very light as well.
I would take a look at the CCW's before making a final decision.
