By my memory...I THINK that he seemed to be particularly worked up over what he may have felt as lack of support for the Vipers in the UK by Chrysler. Again...just my recollection.

He certainly pounded it pretty well, I actually thought he was liking the Gen 4....just describing it in real terms. Compared to some, its pretty raw.

The weirdest thing was seeing Clarkson with hair!

He also choose the Viper to use for his wedding car above all the other good cars, praise indeed.

His closing remark ' Detroit is making great cars again' caused me to get a Viper in 1998.
