two drainplug´s in the differential housing

Hello,

on my viper there are for the oil and lube job two drainplugs on the underfoot of the differential housing. both nearby are. for what reason they are two rainplugs ?

IIRC, one is a DRAIN the other is a FILL.

The drains are for the addition of a diff cooler if you need. At one point the diff did not even copme with 1 drain!
