Anyone know the size and thread of the valve cover bolts? I am thinking of getting some nice looking bolts to spruce up the covers a bit - maybe ARP. Is there anything bolt in particular you need for an aluminum head?

Be sure to use a very small dab of anti-seize on each bolt when you change them out.

Don't use anti-seize on the bolts! Have you ever tried to get the cap off the anti-seize tube after repeated use? It's stuck on the tube!!! Just use a little (I mean a little) Copper Form- a- Gasket on the bolt.(The Copper Form- a- gasket in the tube). Works great, and the bolts are there to stay until you back them out for the next removal! This is because of an experience with anti-seize that wasn't very good to say the least! Just my .02!

The valve cover bolts have a one inch thread length. Thanks for your input guys. I ordered ARP 12 point bolts from Summit.
