They look great. Have you experience with this material and technique....as in does it separate with heat or petrochemicals or is the bond rock-tight? It really looks excellent.

They turned out great!

Do you have a blue and white GTS or a blue and silver GTS? My sister lives in ABQ and I've seen both cars around town before :)

Thanks all.. I'm very pleased with how they turned out.

Im not really familiar with the technique, but know it's laid over a base coat and then after the image is transferred they spray clear coat over it. They've done a few sets of valve covers and I've seen some with over a year of driving on them and they still look new.
That's what made want to try it out.

Earth?
Who did them? I've replaced my 2000's valve covers due to paint bubbling and flaking off, so I have a spare set just ready for refinishing like that... :)

I just had the trim plate that goes over the shifter/radio done with the same process: base color; water transfer sheet; clear coat.

Looks great! Would love to see pic of it all 100% complete with the manifold on and all that.
Love the look with the blue stripes on the car. Makes it accent nicely.

Thank you all.... The heat will be the real test. I'll find out soon for you all.

The other car is my Prostreet 67 Chevelle SS. Has a 6-71 Littlefield blower on it.

Looks great!

I didn't have any heat issues with several engine parts "dipped" on my Cobra and that engine bay got quite warm with the F1A. This included intake manifold, charge piping, all blower brackets, etc. Also had several interior pieces done to match.

Very nice! What are you planning to do with the intake manifold?

I'm going to be running a gen 3 intake manifold. haven't decided if I'm going to leave it bare, black, or a polished finished.

Those look fan-freaking tastic. Please tell me where can I get them and how much?

Sent you a PM

Yep that does look good... post pics of the final build with numbers. :2tu:

Will do!!
