I'd like to repair the peeling paint on my valve covers (Gen 1). I've searched the forum and concluded that the factory red wrinkle paint is non-existent. That said, I would like to keep the look as close to stock as possible. I found a set of wrinkle finish, powder coated covers on eBay that claim to have the factory look. Can anyone chime in who has used "Viper Paul" for engine paint. Is the match as good as they claim?

Any other ideas for my peeling paint? (No bling) I've attached a photo.

Viper.paul is a well respected individual. You can trust him.

It is common to see the powder coating flake off. Most just get a second set to get a custom color applied and personalize their engine compartment.
