I think you have it backwards, low should be+, high should be -. On the low side my car likes between +8-12, on the high side it like -14-20. Hope that helps, Also follow roes direction on setting the vec1. After you pick the perfect settings, return the dials to 0-0. While parked at idle, move the knob towards your ideal settings two at a time and after each move hit the gas full throttle for a second. continue to do both settings high and low. hope this helps.

Is there anyone that has the instructions for setting the VEC1 that they could email me or fax me.

I think I may have what Sean sent me, if I still do I'll e-mail you in 5 min.

WV,

I have the files you want but your address either is an old one or your mailbox is full. The zipped files just bounce back. If you want the manual, let me know how to reach you electronically.

This address is the one that bounced <[email protected]>

The vec1 gives you around 10 to 15 RWHP. If you can feel a difference when you set it properly it will only be in your mind. The dyno is where it shows your gains and proper settings as fact, but in conjunction with your rockers, tubes, filters exhaust, etc. all combined is where the speed gains lye...00PROWLER

The back and forth is normal, when ever it's under load it will give a reading. When you had it on +8 on the high, you were dumping a lot of fuel in the motor. How long didi you drive it like that? you may need to change your plugs, they could be fouled.

That shouldn't be too bad, I was also told that once in a while you do have to go back to 0-0. Then set the vec1 to your specific settings. I also heard that the stock computer tries to override the vec1, that's why you have to reset once in a while.
