As a relatively new Viper owner, I am interested in those who have invested in or investagted the VEC 2. I understand that by modifying the timing and A/F ratio with this mod, one can achieve 50HP or so increase. Can others verify the actual performance increase based on their own experience? Also, I understand one can use programs to modify the characteristics from stock to increased HP and back to stock relatively easily. True? Other than decreased mileage, are there any disadvantages to using this system to increase performance? Thanks for any input.

Sean Roe can answer any questions you have without giving you sales pitch.

But yes, you can gain HP by adjusting your A/F, timing etc. The programs are located on a card that you swipe just like a credit card. Very easy to change.
