Putting a set of panels on is not trivial at all. Most panels would be relatively easy (sills, hood, fascia, rear bumper, front fenders). The doors would be somewhat hard, but doable, but the problem would be the panel that comprises the top of the car. It is bonded to the frame with special adhesive. It would be a real pain to get off, and re-attach to another car. You could expect to pay a lot for the work to be done.
To be honest, there is no reason to want a factory job. There are people that can paint a Viper to be better than factory and some of them are on this board. You could even have all the panels removed and painted and it would be better than factory.
I have a silver GTS and I do think it's the best color for a Viper - really looks classy.
