These are lap times from Nurburgring. The times are from the German car magazine Sport Auto.

Don't forget that the Euro Vipers come with 400 hp. That extra power means seconds on the track, that's for sure!

I did not know that. 400hp just the GTS not the SRT-10 right?

That stuff is fun to compare and discuss, for example there is no way a 360 can hang with a Viper let alone beat it.

But no matter, for me all I need to see are SCCA rules changes restricting Vipers to make the playing field more fair. End of debate.

I agree with you. I think on the right track a 360 would lose to a Viper. Although I do think on a tighter track it would be tougher to beat.

The 360 listed was a Challenge Series, which probably makes a difference, as it's set up for the track.

That and a 400hp GTS made for the street.

A better comparison is a 360 off the showroom made for the street.

Or even a GT2 or Comp Coupe made for the track!

That's impressive, as most of the winners are super high $$$$ cars (well so are most of the loosers :)

I agree, there's no way a 360 should beat a Viper. Maybe the drivers weren't used to all the torque of the Viper?

Didn't see where it said that, but maybe right for a 400hp Viper vs. a Challenge 360 on slicks.

The 360 in the Top Gear Lap has a CS after it. But the other one doesn't. That's the one I saw.
